The knowledge of Total Awakening has been kept alive throughout time through Masters of the Holy Tradition.

The Holy Tradition is not really a man-made tradition in the ordinary sense--a tradition  that has a set of beliefs, concepts, ideas, practices, knowledge or experience that is passed down over time from generation to generation.

Rather, it is a Tradition in the sense that it is the timeless completeness of understanding and experience of being the Totality of what IS and having the ability to bring others to the realization of that Totality through various means.

In reality, it is pure Being, pure Awareness, pure Consciousness fully awake to its Self within its Self in the appearance of enlightened human beings. 

Pure Being is eternally present at all times. It is present now as the wholeness of the apparent manifest and un-manifest creation. It is the one Self of all and the ultimate reality of every being, all of nature and the entire universe. It appears as this universe and as individuality for the purpose of knowing and being itself fully.

Everything and everyone is that totality, but that Totality only knows its Self completely through fully awakened beings who are able to awaken others to the reality of Totality. The most recent embodiment of this Totality was His Divine Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.  Maharishi received his enlightenment through his teacher, his Divinity Swami Brahmananda Saraswati, who followed in the long unbroken line of totally enlightened masters of the Holy Tradition.

Maharishi has revived the complete knowledge of total awakening in its purity. He brought an irrefutable scientific understanding to the practice of meditation, to the ancient Vedic knowledge and to the reality of enlightenment. Through the global organizations established by Maharishi*, consciousness has risen to the point where enlightenment can become a living reality for everyone in this age.
